Ernest is a President's Scholar and medical student at HKUMed - The University of Hong Kong, currently pursuing a master's degree at Harvard Medical School as a Dean's Scholar. His current research focuses on clinical AI and digital health innovations for care support, and has presented at the Laidlaw Global Conference in Trinity College Dublin (2023) and Columbia University (2024). Passionate about global health, he also works with The Lancet Global Health Commission on universal health coverage initiatives. Ernest is a Teaching Fellow for Pre-Med at Harvard College, a selection committee member on Harvard's Global Health Institute, and an elected Student Representative for both HKUMed and Harvard Medical School. Ernest has previously served as President of the Hong Kong Outstanding Students' Association and is currently its Council Member. Committed to community service, he actively mentors underprivileged students' through the Hong Kong Government’s flagship program on youth mentorship and poverty alleviation.
