Harrison Gerson serves on the Laidlaw Scholar Advisory Board and is a graduate of Columbia University, where he majored in Sustainable Development. He is passionate about intergovernmental climate policy. His Laidlaw Scholar ('22) experience focused on sustainable tourism. For his research summer, he developed an online, interactive map of NYC environmental justice and ecotourism. For his Leadership-in-Action, Harrison developed sustainability plans for the Chilean Tourism Federation in Santiago, Chile. Harrison pursued his senior honors thesis research on empowering universities to serve as sustainability leaders abroad and is currently working on the Laidlaw Foundation's sustainability plan.
